MENDELSOHN LEGAL ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF KATE STENDHAL MEIER AND DIANE DAMIAN
Chicago – February 7, 2012 – Mendelsohn Legal, Inc., a boutique legal recruiting firm that specializes in the placement of partners, associates, paralegals and professional legal staff in law firms and corporate legal departments, announced that Kate Stendahl Meier has joined the firm as a legal recruiter.
Meier’s global experiences and industry contacts help make her a rising star in the legal recruiting community. Meier connects firms and corporations with top legal talent. She works with high level candidates to formulate and execute strategies to achieve their career dreams. Meier is passionate about creating the right fit and providing continuing career and business development support to her candidates as they expand their careers.
We are glad that Kate has joined our team. She will expand our ability to conduct focused, timely searches for our clients.
Prior to joining Mendelsohn Legal, Meier was a practicing attorney for medium and large firms in Chicago and London. She also worked in law firm marketing and business development in Hong Kong. Meier graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was an editor of the Journal of Law and Inequality. Meier has also studied at Uppsala universitet in Sweden and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law, with Commendation, from Nottingham Law School in England. She is a member of the Illinois Bar and the Law Society of England and Wales.
Mendelsohn Legal has also hired Diane Damian as a recruiting assistant. Damian has extensive experience working for multinational corporations and smaller institutions and will be a great asset in our recruiting process. Damian is a graduate of Penn State University.
